Warcraft 30th Anniversary

 WARCRAFT 30TH ANNIVERSARY

For the 30th Anniversary of the Warcraft franchise, Blizzard hosted an internal launch celebration at its main campus in Irvine, California. The event featured a diverse array of digital, print, and exhibition graphics, designed to commemorate the milestone and engage employees. To unify the various games within the franchise, a new visual identity was developed, ensuring a cohesive and consistent presentation across all materials. This refreshed branding helped highlight the legacy and ongoing evolution of Warcraft, reinforcing its 30 years of significance within the gaming community.

LOGOS

Anniversary logos designed for each of the Warcraft games within the franchise.

ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGNS

Key art from all the games within the Warcraft franchise is displayed across the campus, showcasing the series' history. The Black-Gold color scheme and Azeroth map are central, representing the vast world loved by players for years. An “X” pattern, inspired by the Roman numeral for ten, highlights the Anniversary celebration. This design honors Warcraft’s growth and its dedicated community. The environmental activations were applied to all three main buildings on campus, the courtyard banners, and around the iconic Orc Statue.

ORC STATUE RING

The Orc Statue is an iconic part of the Blizzard Entertainment, Irvine Campus. Each section of the nearly 50 foot circle is emblazoned with art from each of the games and all tied back to the Black-Gold theme of the anniversary.

EVENT DAY PHOTOS

On the day of the event, additional games, concessions, and activations were hosted which I also spearheaded the graphics for. In addition to using the Black-Gold anniversary pattern, I worked with the Dev and Events teams to create a similar language inspired by the in-game event, Darkmoon Faire.
