DROPIFY

A platform built around uncovering your personal style at an affordable price. DROPIFY is a clothing rental service specializing in Men’s streetwear and high fashion. The idea behind the company was to provide an affordable answer to the expensive prices of some of the most sought-after brands. DROPIFY offers users access to high-fashion, popular brands at a fraction of the price.

Inspiration: complex magazine, hip-hop and rap culture, nike, adidas, sneaker culture, minimalist graphic design.

CREATING AN EXPERIENCE

The idea for DROPIFY was to create a rental experience that allowed users to assemble their outfits and collaborate with each other. Our main platforms would be a web store and mobile app. In the future, we hope to create a hub for users to discuss, flex, rent, or buy streetwear brands.

The main objective for the website were to advertise the concept, user account creation, and ability to keep track of rentals.

DROPIFY MOBILE APP

Drawing inspiration from clothing retail apps as well as social media apps, a second prototype was created for mobile.

The mobile app would provide all of the same functions as the website with the addition of a social media aspect in the “Spotlight” section. This section would allow users to post pictures and videos similar to Instagram’s and Snapchat’s story functions; but of their outfits instead.
